Deck materials
In the course of heat treatment, the density of wood decreases, which in turn makes the wood lighter. Heat treated wood is resistant to weather conditions and fungal damage. Due to a lower moisture content, the shape and dimensions of heat treated deck boards are more persistent, and more stable in case of changes in moisture conditions.
